South American scholar Luis Beltran describes the creation and activities of the radical Bolivian miners¹ radio station poised in the Andes Mountains. For twenty years this radio station has been the voice of miners, peasants and working people. Beltran cites this example as a model for people empowering themselves and fighting for their right to access communications resources. Truly inspiring!
