This video examines abortion, surrogate motherhood, and childbirth in the context of new medical industry technologies. “Felt Evidence” looks at how these technologies, dominated and controlled by men, render women invisible in the decision making process, while the child, commodified and dissociated from the mother’s body, becomes the only concern. Intercut with short tongue-in-cheek skits on the history of childbirth and a recipe for a baby.
