  • Serafina Bathrick Reads Working Woman: Women in Grey Flannel Stifle Their Rage

Feminist and Hunter College professor, Sarafina Bathrick focuses on Working Woman magazine’s editorial position, views and messages to the emerging 80’s woman in the workforce. Magazine themes such as how to enter the “mans world” of business and “working your way up” are deconstructed by Sarafina to eventually reveal an idea of the supremacy of the male world image of success and a woeful lack of critically viewing a woman’s right to work in a post feminist world.
